Aquatic Native Plants: Marginals
These native marginal plants are recommended by the Freshwater Habitats Trust (do join - it's one of my favourite charities!). Some extend out into the water and provide a submerged habitat for animals, others will give you structure and height, up to around 75cm. They're very pretty too and a good resources for a range of pollinators, including bees. If you would like any individual species of native marginal plant please get in touch , although I'm afraid we can only supply these in reasonable numbers.
This collection of plants for water margins includes either 42 or 77 plants selected from the species below in generous 110cc plugs or bare root (depending on the time of year). If you only want to order the 42 plant collection - i.e. below our £100 minimum spend - you can do so through our sister website, British Pond Plants.
If you would like a complete selection of beautiful native plants for your pond, look at our wildlife pond plant collection.
Please note that these plants are only available on a seasonal basis. The nursery grows new stock from autumn to early spring, so we do not deliver over this period. Plants delivered at the beginning of the season may still be dormant, as they're not grown under glass.
