Crab Apple Tree - Dartmouth

Dartmouth has attractive large crimson fruit and delicate pure white flowers. This crab apple is hardy, reliable and disease free. Excellent for jelly. Good for pollinating other apples, but self fertile itself. Pick Dartmouth crab apples in November. Recommended by Monty Don, among others, including us. Our trees here are spectacular, and make great jelly too. We can't quite believe more people don't sell it.

We sell Dartmouth crab apples as one to two year old maiden plants, which are around 100cm tall. They will grow to be trees at least 4m tall. Like all crab apples, they don't need a pollinator.

Supplier : R.V. Roger Ltd.

All our crab apple trees are bare root, so they are only available between November and April. During lifting season, there will be a delay between placing the order and dispatching due to pressure of orders, which are dealt with in date sequence, and the weather. Orders taken from June-October will be confirmed in late October/ early November after a nursery stock take, for dispatch from November. Please consult our planting and care guide on receipt of your order.

Your purchase helps us support a range of charities, which are related to the products we sell.
