This native broadleaf collection includes a selection of five species of trees typical of traditional British lowland woodland, including beech, birch, cherry, field maple, and oak. Like all our native trees and hedging, the plants in this collection have UK provenance and origin - that's to say they're British grown using seed from trees here.

Number of Plants

Plant at 2 to 2.5m spaces, which equates to 2000 to 2500 trees / hectare, or 800 to 1000 trees / acre - give or take. Plants grown by Plant Healthy certified growers.

Option 1

60-90cm two to three year old bare root plants, in packs of 50. Plant from November to March.

Option 2

20-50cm cell grown plants, in packs of 75. Cheaper, smaller, and good to plant from September to end April. With or without 60cm biodegradable guards and canes.
