Grazing Meadow Seed Mix
This grazing mix is essentially a selection of grasses with a herb element to improve diet (and biodiversity!). The herbs do not include anything which might be injurious to livestock, and the hay is very palatable too. Suitable for all stock, including horses, ponies, sheep and cows. The grass element is certified, very diverse, and consists of a traditional collection of species based on Emorsgate Seeds' EG26 grazing mix. Unlike our other mixes, the herbs are mostly agricultural cultivars rather than wild, so it's much more the sort of mix you might buy from an agricultural seed merchant.
Hay yields will be lower using this kind of traditional mix.

We strongly recommend reading up on advice before buying seed - see our resources section and brief guide to preparation and aftercare, which includes links to our "how to" blogs and video.
Although we test our seed and it has high germination rates, you need to be careful about initial care and establishing an annual regime. Don't be put off though - once you get the hang of it it's pretty straightforward.
