Plum Tree - Yellow Pershore
The original Yellow Pershore was found by George Crooke and his son Thomas in Tiddesley Wood, Pershore. It has medium sized canary coloured fruit with firm flesh. Yellow Pershore is an excellent culinary plum which will keep well if picked before fully ripe, and freezes well. The tree is heavy cropping and disease resistant, with largely frost proof blossom. Although Yellow Pershore is self fertile, yields are likely to be improved by planting an appropriate pollinator nearby.
They will grow to be a mature tree of around 3.5m tall.

All our plum trees are bare root, so they are only available between November and April. During lifting season, there will be a delay between placing the order and dispatching due to pressure of orders, which are dealt with in date sequence, and the weather. Orders taken from June-October will be confirmed in late October/ early November after a nursery stock take, for dispatch from November. Please consult our planting and care guide on receipt of your order.
