British trees for wet woodland

British trees for wet woodland

This wet woodland collection includes a selection of five different native British trees which will do well in wet ground, including Alder, Birch, Aspen, and willows. These collections are available in 50, 100, or 500 plants, which are between 60 and 90cm tall. Like all our native trees and hedging, the plants in this collection have UK provenance and origin - that's to say they're British grown using seed from trees here.

See our planting and size guide for details and tips on planting. For the best effect these trees should be planted between 2m and 2.5 metres apart. They are all bare root, and are consequently available for delivery from November until March. During this period there may be up to two weeks delay between placing the order and dispatching, due to weather conditions or pressure of orders, which are dealt with in date sequence. Orders placed for our wet woodland collection between March and September are confirmed in October ready for dispatch from November.

Have a look at our videos on what to do when your plants arrive and how to plant a bare root tree.
